The large wooden gate is located on the West Wall. The Battlements overlook a path and deep gully.

| The Gatehouse
This is a seperate living quarters for the Gatekeeper. The Abbey Recorder also lives here, amid piles of scrolls and parchments.

| Southern Wallgate
This gate is at the center of the Southern wall. It looks out into the forest of Mossflower.

| The Pond
Here is the favorite playground for all the Dibbuns. It is also home to very large Greylings, sometimes caught for the Great Feasts.

This gate is at the center of the East Wall, which looks out over the fathomless depths of Mossflower wood.

| The Orchard
Here the leaves of pear, apple, peach, every kind of tree you can imagine stirr in the wind. The bushes of berries are a source of endless juice-smothered delight for the Dibbuns,.

This gate stands in the North Wall's center. It looks out over the thinner part of Mossflower wood.

| The Abbey Grounds
These stretch from wall to wall inside Redwall, and you often see Dibbuns rushing for cover at bathtime.

This beautiful red sandstone Abbey is set in the center of the grounds inside the walls, and from its belltower to its stain glass windows everything is splendorous.

| Noonvale
This is the most beautiful and secret of havens in the North. It is where mice, moles, hedgehogs, a few squirrels, and maybe an otter or two form a peaceful existance in the company of one another.

| Marshank
This once-great castle has been reduced to a heap of rubble. The remnants of Corsair ships are still visible at low tide.

| The Broadstream
This wide 'river' runs from the west to the eastern reaches of the Northern Mountains.

| The Tall Stones
Here lodged between two large rocks is the remnants of a great slave ship.

These are dotted about a high cliff in the North, where one called Luke the Warrior once led his Tribe.

| Salamandastron |
| The Gate
This is pretty much the only way into Salamandastron. It is a high wooden gate with iron spikes at the bottom. There are other ways to get in near here, but this is the most commonly known.

| The Halls
These wind all the way up down and around Salamandastron, and you can get pretty much anywhere by them.

| The Courtyard
This beautiful garden is in the center of a wide gap at the mountain's middle, where once volcanic ash had poured from Salamandastron's mouth.

| The Ancient Hall
This place is almost never visited by any but the Badger Lord. It is secret and some say there is a way to a secret treasure of the Mountain. The stories of all the Badger Lords are written on the walls.

| Messhall
This is the great 'dining room' of Salamandastron, probably named thus because of the messy Hares who tend to gluttonize themselves here.

| The Larder
This is the kitchen and storage room of the Mountain, where the cooks make food from the stores gathered by some of the Hares of the mountain.

| Badlands
A wide stretch of bumpy sand dunes, going from North to South. This is between Salamandastron and the Northern Mountains.

This wide stretch of beach surronds the mighty mountain known as Salamandastron. Many Hares patrol this area, so it is hard to get by without being noticed.

| The Swamplands
Here between the Southern Mountains and the Eastern, blocking Mossflower from veiw, a boggy swamp stretches for leagues. There are stories of cannibal reptiles, so you'd best be on your guard.

These small jagged mounds lead to the mountains at the border of Southsward.

| Riftgard
This is the farthest Isle, though slowly more Northeast than Sampetra. It was once ruled by Agarnu the white ferret.

This Isle is the farthest North in the Western Ocean. It was once ruled by one called Emperor Ublaz,

This is the Isle where a mad corsair named Gabool the Wild once held his reign of the castle.

This is the farthest Isle to the south and is inhabited by otters led by the High Rhulain. The Isle was once captured by a feline called Riggu Felis.
